What is the El Paso Electric Energy Wise Savings Program?

The Energy Wise Savings Program encourages customers to reduce their electricity use during peak hours or under certain conditions by adjusting a Wi-Fi enabled thermostat remotely. Peak electricity demand typically occurs on hot summer days when operating refrigerated air conditioning units increases. When we know the demand for energy will be highest, we'll schedule an Energy Saver Event. During these events, the Energy Wise Savings Program uses your unique comfort preferences to optimize your home's energy use. You stay comfortable before, during and after the event while also conserving energy and saving you money.
