The platform is built on a custom cloud architecture complete with advanced features for ensuring data privacy and integrity. The Energy Wise Savings Program also employs security industry best practices such as authentication and encryption protocols.

During the registration process, you will be asked to authorize the Energy Wise Savings Program to access your thermostat data. Please review this request to ensure you are comfortable sharing this information.

For communication with your smart thermostat, the Energy Wise Savings Program adheres to each thermostat manufacturer's security requirements. Note that the Energy Wise Savings Program does not connect directly to your smart thermostat and all thermostat data received is controlled by the thermostat manufacturer's robust and secure application program interfaces (APIs).
